Yes, the InternOSU program offers paid internships. The specific compensation may vary depending on the department hosting the internship, but every student in the program will be paid at least $14/hour for up to 15 hours per week. 

While the program is open to students of all classifications, some departments may prefer upperclassmen who have more advanced skills and coursework. Additionally, since this program lasts for a full school year, students graduating in December are not eligible for these positions unless otherwise agreed upon by the department. 

Yes, most internships are based on the Stillwater campus and community.  

No, graduate students who apply for and accept an internship position with the program are not eligible to receive an assistantship or work in another assistantship. 

Yes, we encourage international students to apply for any positions related to their career goals, though they should ensure they are compliant with any work authorization requirements related to their visa status. 

No, labor laws restrict students to 20 hours per week for on-campus employment. However, you are still permitted to work off campus if additional funding is needed.
